Since the end of 2024, Hungary has officially discontinued the €500,000 real estate investment option. Currently, you may choose to invest €250,000 in one of the qualified private equity real estate funds in Hungary for a minimum of 5 years. These funds are authorized and regulated by the Hungarian Central Bank and the EU financial regulator.
To qualify under the Guest Investor Immigration Program, at least 40% of the investment must be allocated to Hungarian residential properties, while the remaining portion can be invested in safer bond assets.
