The Immigrant Investor Programme (IIP) offers secure residency status in Ireland through approved investments. It is ideal for high-net-worth individuals who wish to obtain permanent residency in Ireland, the only English-speaking country within the EU, without the need for relocation.

One of the primary advantages of this scheme is that investment is required only after receiving an approval letter, with no language requirement or interview necessary. The residency requirement is just one day per year to maintain permanent residency status.

Book a consultation meeting with our team to assess your eligibility and explore investment options that align with your goals.
  2. Documents Preparation
We will guide you in preparing the necessary documents for your IIP application, including the source of funds, Criminal Record Certificate, and apostilled documents. Additionally, we will draft relevant legal declarations to explain your source of funds and eligibility.
  3. Visa Submission
We will submit your application to the INIS on your behalf. Please note that the current processing time is approximately 24 to 30 months due to a significant backlog of cases submitted after 2023.
  4. Pre-Approval
Once your application is pre-approved, you will need to complete the investment with 90 days from the date of your approval letter.
  5. Full Approval
Once your investment is completed, the INIS will issue the full approval in around two weeks.
  6. Landing in Ireland
You and your family member will need to travel to Ireland to provide biometric information at the INIS. Our lawyer in Ireland will accompany you to this appointment.
  7. Residence Card
After your appointment, you will receive a 2-year residence card (Stamp 4), allowing you to live in Ireland. From this point onwards, you will need to visit Ireland at least one day per calendar year.
  8. Residency Renewal at Year 2
Before the expiration of the 2-year residency card, you must apply for renewal, proving you have maintained your investment. The renewal will be granted for another three years, during which you must continue to visit Ireland at least one day per calendar year.
  9. Residency Renewal at Year 5
After five years, you can continue to renew your residence card every five years without any further investment and residency requirements.
  10. Citizenship Application
If you want to apply for Irish citizenship, you will need to reside in Ireland for five years out of the last nine years and meet the residency rules—specifically, having one year of continuous reckonable residence prior to your citizenship application and a total of 1,460 days (four years) of reckonable residence during the eight years prior, with no absences exceeding 70 days in each reckonable year.
