The Isle of Man is a self-governing British Crown Dependency situated in the Irish Sea between England and Ireland. Home to approximately 85,000 residents, the island boasts diverse natural beauty, including mountains, forests, and beaches, which have earned it UNESCO Biosphere status.

While closely associated with the UK, the Isle of Man has its own government, immigration, and tax laws. Residents can enjoy rights similar to British citizens, including the ability to live and work in the UK and Ireland as part of the Common Travel Area.

Isle of Man residents enjoy some of the lowest tax rates in Europe, with no Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, Corporation Tax, or Stamp Duty, along with low personal income tax. This appealing tax regime is especially attractive for High Net Worth Individuals and Business Migrants.

Property

The Isle of Man offers property options from apartments to detached houses. Douglas, the capital, has a vibrant business sector, shops, and charming Victorian homes. Ramsey, the second-largest and sunniest town, boasts miles of sandy beaches and is an ideal place to live.

Ronaldsway Airport provides regular flights to England, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Scotland. The Isle of Man Ferry offers daily services from Heysham, Liverpool/Birkenhead, Dublin, and Belfast, allowing for vehicle transport.

Education

The Isle of Man has a respected education system with high teaching standards and a strong focus on sports and culture. Its curriculum is based on the English national framework, and it is home to the esteemed King William’s College.

Healthcare

Manx Care is the Isle of Man’s equivalent to the UK’s NHS, allowing residents to register with a local GP, the island also offers hospitals, social care services, pharmacies, and dental care.
