
The Cyprus Category 6.2 Fast-Track Permanent Residency Program allows applicants to obtain permanent residency within approximately 6-8 months by investing at least €300,000 (excluding VAT) in newly built residential property. This programme has minimal residency requirements, requiring a visit to Cyprus only once every two years. Additionally, once Cyprus joins the Schengen Zone, permanent residents will enjoy visa-free travel within the Schengen Area.

Eligibility
- Main applicant:
Must be at least 18 years old.
- Spouse/Partner:
Applications can include a married spouse or a registered civil union partner (including same-sex partners).
- Minor Children:
Children under 18 can be included.
- Adult Children:
Unmarried children aged 18–25 who are tertiary students abroad and financially dependent on the applicant may submit their own application based on the applicant’s investment.
- Health Insurance:
Applicants must obtain health insurance covering Cyprus.
- No Criminal Record:
Applicants aged 18 and above must provide a clean criminal record from their home country and and country of residence (if different).
- Annual Income:
Main applicant must prove a minimum annual income of €50,000 from abroad, with an additional €15,000 for their spouse and €10,000 for each dependent child.

Purchase newly built residential properties with a minimum value of €300,000 (excluding VAT). The property must be purchased directly from a developer and qualify as first-sale properties.

The Cyprus Permanent Residency (PR) application process is simple and efficient, with the following steps:
- Consultation Meeting
Schedule a consultation with our professional team to assess your eligibility and explore investment options. - Document Preparation
Prepare the required documents, including a clean criminal record certificate, personal documents, proof of funds, etc. All documents must be certified/apostilled and translated into English or Greek. - Complete the Investment
Make the qualifying investment by purchasing newly built residential property and signing the contract of sale. To apply for PR, a minimum of €300,000 (excluding VAT) must be paid, even if the purchase price is higher. Transfer the funds from abroad and register the contract with the Cyprus Land Registry. - Submission
Our legal team in Cyprus will submit your permanent residency application to the Cyprus immigration authorities and handle all associated fees. Processing time is typically 6-8 months. - Complete Biometrics
Biometric registration can be completed during the application examination or, if not done earlier, you and your family must travel to Cyprus within one year after approval to complete it. - Residence Card Issuance
Once biometrics are completed, your permanent residency card will be issued within approximately 30 working days. This status is valid for life, provided you visit Cyprus at least once every two years, maintain your qualifying investment, submit a clean criminal record every 3 years and keep valid health insurance coverage. - Optional Citizenship Application
If you wish to become a Cyprus citizen, you can apply for citizenship after residing in Cyprus for at least 7 years, accumulating 2,555 days in the last 10 years. The final year must be continuous. Applicants must pass a Greek B1 language proficiency test and a social integration assessment.
